Welcome to Acorns Class

Welcome to Acorns Class – a Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception children. We currently welcome children aged 3-5 years. Our Nursery children are known as ‘Little Acorns’ and our Reception children are known as ‘Big Acorns’. We are ‘Busy Learners’ together, sharing our well-resourced indoor and outdoor areas.

We follow the curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage (further details below). We work on topics, themes and follow the children’s interest. This provides learning opportunities through lots of interesting activities and investigations. On this page, you can see photos showcasing a flavour of what we have been learning recently. There are also some useful resources for you to use at home to support your child’s learning. Unit Times:

Little Acorns – Nursery – 9.15am-3.15pm

Big Acorns – Reception – 9am – 3.30pm
