Parent Questionnaire 2026
Please complete all fields marked (*)
The feedback you gave us from last year's parent questionnaire helped us to complete the federation development plan and to shape our priorities for this year. The three key areas that you identified for development were: • Developing and sustain the federation-wide sporting and culture events, including sporting competitions and festivals musical performances, concerts and shows • Retaining the 'village school' ethos of each school, in the context of the growth of the Federation over the last few years. • Managing the small number of children with additional needs and accessing additional funding to improve send provision We have continued to offer federation-wide sporting and culture events, including football and netball tournaments, the Exmoor Challenge, visits to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and other live performances and plays. The Year 5 and 6 residential visit will give older children lots of opportunities for cultural experiences, including 'Matilda' at the Hippodrome in Bristol. The 'village school' ethos is very important to us and we are continuing to build the unique character of each school. This was evident in the SIAMS [church school] inspection at Brampford Speke earlier in the school year. Accessing additional funding for pupils with additional needs is often beyond our control because of the way that Devon County Council allocates funding. However, the SENDCO team have applied for additional funding for a number of pupils and have appealed for higher levels of funding for others. We are also working on increasing capacity for the SENDCO team, in order to accelerate the funding application process. Now we are asking for your help again to let us know how you feel your child is getting on at school by completing this year's Parent Survey and we really appreciate the time and thought that goes into your responses. We have made the parent survey much shorter this year, with ten questions and two free text sections. The survey will be available at parent meetings and via newsletters, and a paper version can also be obtained from your child's school office. It is also published on the EVMF website and can be downloaded and sent to your child's school office. Please complete or return the questionnaire to the school offices by Friday, 20th March 2026. If you have more than one child at school it would help us if you filled in a separate questionnaire for each one. Thank you.
Please could you state which school your child attends?

What has gone well for your child this year and how have you seen them flourish at school?
*
Finally, how do you think the Exe Valley and Moorsway Federation can develop in the coming year? How can we improve our provision in 2026/7 and how would you like to see it evolve in the future?
