Harvest Collection
This year, from Monday 9th October, we will be collecting produce to donate to Crediton Foodbank. Crediton Food Bank is a ‘Christians Together in Crediton’ initiative, providing emergency food for local people in crisis in Crediton and the surrounding villages. The food bank is run entirely on a voluntary basis and operates from the Manse - next door to the Congregational Church in Crediton. They also offer support such as financial advice, referring and signposting to other agencies, including counselling, and works closely with all agencies in the area including schools.
In additional to fresh fruit and vegetables, Crediton Foodbank have provided us with a list of ‘in need of’ supplies:
Washing up liquid
Small bags of sugar
Pasta and pasta sauce
Tinned pulses
Baked beans
Tea bags
Biscuits
We will be holding our Harvest Festival in school on Thursday 12th October at 2:30pm and would love it if you could join us. Our PTA will also be selling refreshments afterwards so do stay for a drink and a chat!
