BREAKFAST CLUB AND PRE-SCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Our pre-school is expanding and we would like to recruit an experienced practitioner to work to with pre-school children and to run our Breakfast Club at Cheriton Fitzpaine School. This post is a fixed term contract from 19th January 2020 or as soon after as possible, to 31st August 2020. This is a temporary contract until future pupil numbers are known. Applications are welcome from well-motivated people who would be able to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also using their own initiative to work independently. The successful applicant will hold  a Level 3 Early Years  qualification and be able to run the Breakfast Club and work as part of the Foundation Stage Unit staff team, focusing mainly on the pre-school children. This is a part time post at present but flexibility to increase hours would be an advantage.

The required hours are currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.45am to 3.45pm every day (with a 30 minute lunchbreak) and Tuesday and Thursday 7.45am to 1.15 pm.  The total hours per week is 32.5 hours per week, term time only and including 5 staff development days. The salary for this post is Grade C (£9.55 to £9.94 per hour depending on experience).
