Covid Recovery Teaching Assistant

COVID RECOVERY TEACHING ASSISTANT
Following the DfE’s announcement that schools will be given funding to support children to catch up, the Governors we would like to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to develop and deliver a Recovery, Refocus and Readiness programme across the federation. This post will involve liaising with teachers and the RRR Lead Teacher to identify children who would benefit from intervention and then supporting children’s learning in class, leading pre-teaching and post-teaching intervention groups. Experience of working with children who have had emotional and learning challenges would be a particular advantage.
This is a full-time post from 8.45am to 3.45pm each day and may include some lunchtime supervision. The salary for this post is £9.55 - £9.94 per hour, depending on experience and is for term time only, but includes 5 non-pupil days (39 weeks per year). This is a temporary contract from 1st October to 31st December 2020 in the first instance but may be extended into the new year.
