EYFS Teacher Whimple Primary School
The Executive Principal and Governors of the Exe Valley and Moorsway Federation wish to appoint an excellent EYFS classroom teacher for September 2026. The Federation comprises of nine village primary schools and shares a common vision for excellence and a drive to continuously improve outcomes for all our children, both emotionally and academically. Four of the schools are Church Schools with a strong Christian ethos and all staff are expected to uphold this ethos. The successful applicants may be asked to work at any of the Federation schools in the future.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Early Years class teacher with experience and expertise in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum, alongside a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning that enables every child to thrive. They will demonstrate the ability to support children in achieving strong outcomes, both socially and academically, while creating a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
This post is a 0.44 FTE one-year fixed-term contract (Mondays and Tuesdays plus PPA), and will be based at Whimple Primary School. The position is offered on the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6), dependent on experience. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
