Class Teacher

The Executive Principal and Governors of the Exe Valley and Moorsway Federation wish to appoint an excellent KS2 classroom teacher for September 2026 at whimple Primary School. The Federation comprises ten village primary schools and shares a common vision for excellence and a drive to continuously improve outcomes for all our children, both emotionally and academically. Four of the schools are Church Schools with a strong Christian ethos and all staff are expected to uphold this ethos. The successful applicants may be asked to work at any of the Federation schools in the future.

We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher with experience and expertise in teaching upper KS2. This should include a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum expectations and experience of preparing children for the next stage of their education. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to support children in achieving strong outcomes, both emotionally and academically. Experience of teaching in mixed-age classes would be beneficial. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply. This post is a permanent post and will be full time in the upper KS2 class at Whimple Primary School.

The Exe Valley and Moorsway Federation is committed to keeping all our children safe.
